Tools_Cal_WEB
Immediate access, wherever you are.
All MICRO-TEC Customers have access to the Tools_Cal_WEB portal, a platform that allows them to:
- view detailed instrument records
- view and download calibration reports in PDF format
- check the list of instruments due for calibration
- generate lists of calibrations performed between two dates
- view the complete list of catalogued instruments
Web access has been designed to be simple, fast, and secure, with no possibility of modifying data. This ensures information integrity and prevents unauthorized changes.
A label displaying the Instrument Code and a QR code is applied to the instruments. When scanned with any smartphone, it provides direct access to the Instrument Record in Tools_Cal Web, containing all information and related certificates.
Tools_Cal – The complete database installed at the Customer’s premises.
For Customers who need to independently manage the addition and modification of instrument records and calibration data — including instruments not calibrated by MICRO-TEC — we install Tools_Cal, a dedicated database hosted on the Customer’s server and under their exclusive ownership. This database enables automatic updates of the Tools_Cal Web platform, accessible from any browser, allowing data consultation without the possibility of modification. This architecture has been designed to ensure:
- full ownership of data by the Customer
- a high level of security and control
- separation between operational management and web consultation
Tools_Cal allows:
- addition, modification, and deletion of instruments
- entry and management of calibrations performed by other laboratories
- storage of calibration certificates in PDF format
- automatic update of the Web version
- possibility of importing instrument lists (Excel or other formats) through MICRO-TEC
- printing of instrument lists with direct links to web records
- printing of the complete instrument label including code, location, and QR Code linking to the online instrument record
- insertion of customized photos or images selected from a database of over 2,500 images
All calibrations performed by MICRO-TEC are automatically uploaded both to Tools_Cal and the Web version, ensuring data that is always updated and synchronized.

From Tools_Cal it is possible to print an identification adhesive label for the instrument, containing the instrument code, location (optional), and a QR code that, when scanned with a smartphone, opens the related instrument record on Tools_Cal_WEB, where the PDFs of all performed calibrations are available.

What is the difference between Tools_Cal and Tools_Cal_WEB?
Tools_Cal is the complete database installed within the Customer’s IT system and allows autonomous management of instruments and calibrations.
Tools_Cal_WEB is the online platform, accessible from anywhere, that allows secure viewing of instruments, certificates, and expiry dates.
Do the data remain the Customer’s property?
Tools_Cal absolutely YES. The main database always remains installed on the Customer’s servers and remains their exclusive property, even in the event of termination of the relationship with MICRO-TEC.
Tools_Cal_WEB, on the other hand, stores data on a MICRO-TEC-owned server.
Is it possible to enter calibrations performed by other laboratories?
Yes. Tools_Cal allows the entry and management of calibrations performed by third-party laboratories, maintaining a complete and consistent history of all metrological activities.
Is the system secure?
The dual-database structure ensures high security standards:
